In all aspects of my work as your Congressman, I will always focus on what’s best for you and your pocketbook. You are the key to our country’s success and growth, and everything we do in Washington must lead toward improving your life and livelihood.
A strong defense with a robust economy will keep you safe and protect our country. I served in the Air Force during good times and bad. I’ve seen the impact of neglect when I wasn’t able to fly, because we didn’t have parts to fix airplanes. Our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters who put their lives on the line for us deserve no less than the very best. America’s posture throughout the world grows with a strong economy. Americans have proven time and again that with a robust American economy, we have a safer and more stable world. I will work for you to continue the economic expansion to put America First both at home and abroad.
The greatest force for prosperity at home is a strong economy. You work hard to put food on the table and a roof over you and your children’s heads. Everything I do will focus on its impact on you, on what works for our families.
We need to create the workforce for the opportunities that will come with the growing economy. We need to expand opportunities beyond the four-year college education. We need more high tech programs and trade schools.
We are already seeing a decrease in illegal immigration. Building the wall will reduce it more and stop the drugs and gangs that are coming into our country and killing our children and destroying our families.
We cannot take ten years to balance the budget. The government keeps taking money from your pocketbooks and wallets to pay for deficits that just won’t end. Our children’s future depends on getting our budget under control. I believe we must continue to reduce regulations, eliminate continuing resolutions, and shrink the government to help solve our budget problems.
